Life Coaching for Moms

Motherhood isn't meant to be experienced alone, and yet so many of us feel isolated, unseen, misunderstood, and depleted. In this space, you can finally feel seen, heard, and understood.

American motherhood is a uniquely difficult journey. We often enter into it with high hopes of transformation, love, and joy, and are met with difficulty, disconnection, trauma, and uncertainty.

Without a built in "village" concept, we are left to fend for ourselves, often putting our needs, bodies, and selves on the back burner.

With support, you can find healing, with understanding, you can find transformation.

You don't have to do this alone. I'm here to walk along side you and help you find the joy, ease, and health you desire.

Do you want to feel more present, connected, and balanced in your motherhood experience?

If you crave to find ways to prioritize yourself while mothering your child(ren), wish to parent from a more intentional, conscious place, desire a deeper partnership with your spouse, hope to find balance with your career or home life, or want to live more in accordance with your body and the cycles of nature, you have come to the right place.

My approach to motherhood coaching stems from not only my personal experience as a mother, but as a seasoned doula, somatic practitioner, intuitive, poet, researcher, and spiritual inquirer. My hope is that all mothers I work with find a deeper connection to themselves and their bodies, their child(ren), their partner, their community, their spirituality, and the earth. When we find our place within the natural rhythms and cycles of our bodies and the earth, our lives begin to feel in alignment.

Why Coaching?

You may be wondering, is motherhood coaching for me?

Life coaching, unlike therapy, offers a broader lens from which to draw support. Traditional therapy is an important aspect of mental healthcare in our culture, however, many people find the support they receive from their therapist to be limited or lacking in some way. This sense of incomplete care is not often the fault of the therapist, rather it is the scope and bounds that the therapist must work within that limits the depth of inquiry and transformation. I have utilized in my own life both traditional therapy and life coaching, and both have had positive results. However, I am drawn to working within sovereign spaces and with practitioners who can work outside of the box.

Holistic, broad focused care is ideal for the concerns of women living in the early years of their motherhood. With all of my work, I approach my clients and their needs through a somatic lens, allowing the nervous system to be a guiding force for understanding how we show up in the world. But what I love about this particular type of work, is that I can also offer my coaching clients support through other lenses.

I often support my clients with parent-child relationships, spouse/partner relationships, career, family, community, and culture. We work with these life facets through the somatic lens (nervous system/polyvagal theory), but also recruit support via lifestyle changes (including nutrition, body care, schedule), relational dynamics (communication, boundaries, behavior), identity work (self-image, inner child work, shadow work, family of origin), natural cycling (menstrual cycle charting, seasonal living, sexuality work), and belief systems (familial, cultural, personal, spiritual).

Together, we draw connections, find actionable tools and resources, and help you better understand yourself, so you can show up in your life in a way that feels authentic to who you are and are becoming.
